Show Report
Shoreham Airshow 2002
Date |
September 2002 |
Weather |
Rather cloudy with a very few brighter periods. |
Positive Points |
Relaxed atmosphere and a well organised program with good variety. |
Negative Points |
Would be nice to see a few more fast jets or other current front line equipment. |
Highlights |
The Danish F-16 returned again this year and performed a rather non-typical F-16 routine. It was a powerful display but more like a Phantom display with sweeping turns on full afterburner rather than the tight turns and manoeuvres normally associated with the F-16. |
Other comment |
A good 'local' event that is good value for money. |
