Perhaps the best display ever seen by a B-52 in the UK was given by this B-52G at Air Fete '90 at RAF Mildenhall. The aircraft was named 'The Swashbuckler' and gave an absolutely stunning display during the Saturday of the show weekend. According to many reports the routine on the Sunday was much less exuberant at the insistence of 'Top Brass'!!

To me, instead of the B-2A Spirit the 'star' of Air Fete 2000 was a real aeroplane, the B-52H.
Few aircraft exhibit grace and power at the same time but a well executed B-52 display always does. It's been a while since a good demonstration of the B-52 in the UK, which is why I really appreciated this one at Air Fete 2000.
A magnificent sight even after all the years it's been in service, the mighty B-52H gets airbourne at Air Fete 2001.
