Show Report
Airbourne 2001
Eastbourne
| Date | 16th - 19th August 2001 |
| Weather | Bright, sunny and warm during the first two days but wet and windy during most of the weekend |
| Comment | A good variety of aircraft were on show again this year with the highlight once again being the Belgian Air Force F-16A that in my opinion is now the best F-16 display on the display circuit. The eight minute display over the sea was very impressive and with full afterburner being engaged during most of it. The role demo conducted on the beach by the RAF Chinook HC2 was another highlight and the "Red Arrows" performed their usual immaculate display being booked on all four days this year. |

Not exactly the 'Red Arrows' but an interesting display nonetheless was given by this French team called the 'Space Knights'.
